From February 19th to 23rd, the school trip of class 5AL took place in the French capital. Accompanied by teachers R. Musio and P. Pedron, the students visited some of the most significant places and monuments of French history and art, now designated as world heritage sites: the Louvre Museum, with its immense wealth of works, the Orangerie with the famous "Water Lilies" by Monet and a significant collection of works from the Impressionist period, the places linked to the splendor of the monarchy, culminating in the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King, and those that witnessed the transformation of the city into the modern and vibrant capital that Zola had already immortalized in his novels. Many kilometers were covered on foot through the boulevards and squares of Paris, sometimes under a light Atlantic rain, but the fatigue was always compensated by the beauty and magic of this astonishing city.
